The last fourteen weeks has shown that every single business and organisation has needed to innovate and adapt. Innovation (today’s theme for Armed Forces Week) within the Armed Forces will conjure up many different topics across different sections of the services. One that is topical is the use of digital innovation. Virtual platoons were set up to continue army training digitally during the COVID19 lockdown so as not to disrupt the need to continue with learning and assessments, delivered through secure portals.
Within the commercial world there’s no going back to, “business as usual”. Today’s challenges have forced businesses to apply an urgent shift to their digital strategies to ensure that efficiency, self-service and personalisation are at the core of their communications. National lockdown has been a catalyst for massive adoption of remote work across industries, and workspaces are being reimagined to address new priorities and styles of working. According to Strategic research company Nemertes, in a recent survey, at least 70 percent of participants said they would most likely continue to work from home post COVID-19, which is leading to a huge demand on innovative ways to communicate in groups and to share work.
Trinity is working to adapt services offered to our military customers and use new technology in today’s rapidly changing environment. We recently introduced the means for our customers to be able to self-serve their insurance policies with personnel access to a secure customer portal.
We are supporting Armed Forces Week. We celebrate everyone in the Armed Forces community including service personnel, reservists, veterans, cadets and their family and friends. Thank you for all you do.
