Got the green light on your travel plans? Make sure you have travel insurance in place.

With the Balearic islands, Malta and parts of the Caribbean going onto the UK’s green list for travel from today, it’s a good time to ensure you have travel insurance in place if you are planning a trip.

Through our partnership with Columbus Direct, the travel insurance includes:

  • Cancellation cover for unavoidable military duty*
  • European or Worldwide cover
  • Travel from your UK or your overseas base
  • Up to £15m Medical Expenses cover
  • £2m Personal Liability cover
  • Repatriation to the UK or your overseas base

*Terms apply

This travel insurance is available for everyone – serving, reservists, veterans and forces friends and family. If you are living outside the UK, you can only purchase cover if you have a BFPO address and are members of the HM Armed Forces/MOD or civilian attached and their families, whether full or part-time or reservists.

It’s really important to make sure you are covered for your destination and use the official government website www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice for advice on what you need to do and where you can travel. If you travel against government restrictions, cover may not be available or could be restricted. The latest information regarding cover will be available on the Columbus Direct website.
