BFPO have announced their postal deadlines for ships and units, and you have until Monday November 27th to ensure any cards or parcels you send reach their destination by 25th December.

At least eight Royal Navy vessels, three RFA support ships, several naval air squadrons and some small detachments of Royal Marines will be away from home this Christmas Day.

To help with the financial burden of sending gifts, the Christmas Families Free Mail Service will run from Friday October 27th to Friday November 24th. They have confirmed there will be no charge sending letters and parcels up to 2kg to eligible units, including: Operation Kipion (Gulf/east of Suez); Falkland Islands; Operation Litten (counter people-trafficking in the Aegean); Diego Garcia; HM Ships Blyth, Bangor, Clyde, Diamond, Enterprise, Ledbury, Middleton and Protector, RFAs Cardigan Bay, Fort Rosalie and Mounts Bay.
